The Fiat

Key to achieving union with God the Father is giving our fiat to Him: saying our unconditional, freely chosen, "yes" to the desires of His Divine Heart; both when we decide to develop an intimate relationship with Him and ongoing in the course of our lives. As Mary said, "yes" to Archangel Gabriel, when he announced to Her that She would bear the Son of God despite being a virgin (Lk 1:26-38), even though She knew that She could be stoned to death for such a decision; and Jesus said, "yes" to the Father right through Gethsemane, His Passion, and Crucifixion; so are we all called by our Father to give Him our wholehearted "yes" - this so that we can enter and live in His Divine Heart and Will: the confines of Infinite Love.
